Updates in your KYC Toolbox from 23.11.21
NEW: ESG Assistant
In addition to screening clients for potential risks related to money laundering, environmental, social and governance issues (ESG) are becoming increasingly important. Regulatory requirements are getting stricter and also the first court decisions confirm the importance of ESG topics.
We are pleased to provide you with the new ESG Assistant, a tool that allows you to quickly and efficiently check your clients for relevant news and articles related to ESG topics. The ESG Assistant compiles the most relevant articles, which you can then evaluate and comment on individually. Afterwards, the PDF report is available in the Toolbox and can be downloaded or archived.
Short instruction: Start the ESG Assistant and select the desired languages, ESG criteria, data sources and the report size (5, 10 or 20 articles):
Web Search (Google), Online Media (specific media databases) as well as the well-known KYC Records (KYC Spider specific media data base), Swiss commercial register (SHAB) and international registers (Open Corporates) are available as data sources.
As soon as the report is available (Information Status: Completed), you can edit and comment on the report by clicking on "Edit":
Define whether the article is classified by you as "relevant", "positive" or "negative". This information will be considered and included in the report. You can also adjust the order of the articles and comment on each article. Proceed in the same way for all other data sources. Once finished, the report is available in the Toolbox.
Same as for the EDD Report, the ESG Report is available for 300 Coins.
NEW: Update EDD Assistant
The popular Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Assistant has also received a facelift and is now based on the same technology as the new ESG Report.
Short instruction: As with the ESG Assistant, you first select the desired languages, the money laundering relevant criteria, desired sources and the size of the report (number of articles 5/10/20):
As soon as the report is compiled (Information Status: Completed) you can edit and comment the report by clicking on "Edit":

NEW: API Enhancement
We further enhanced our API and are happy to inform you about the following new options:
- You now also have the possibility to retrieve any documents in the toolbox via API (i.e. including also the onboarding chatbot log, error messages of the online identification).
- You also now have the option to query only those customer relationships which have been updated recently, i.e. which changed the risk status
- You also have the possibility to set the status of the respective KYC file via API (i.e. “to be assessed”)
- You can also define the role of a person or organization in the KYC file via API (i.e. “contracting partner”, “beneficial owner”).
- Furthermore, we have made various minor adjustments.
